Introduction

Zareef Minty is a 27 year old, LLB graduate at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. Zareef is a thought leader and innovator. Zareef became the youngest national youth president inSouth African history at the tender age of just 19. He ran in the 2014 national general elections where he was 5th on the party’s parliamentary candidates list. Zareef is a motivational speaker, where he speaks at schools around South Africa every fortnight.

Game Changer

Zareef wrote a book called EMPIRE, which made a lot of buzz in South Africa. It is about the youth and their mindset, it teaches young people tips on how to improve their mindset in such a way that they will be attracting positivity and success to them.

Some of the topics in the book include networking, taking no for an answer, being your biggest critic… etc.

Zareef has also started his own foundation called the Zareef Minty Build a School Foundation, which plans to build 3 schools in Limpopo by the end of 2024.

Zareef is a One Young World Ambassador for South Africa where he will be represent the country every year in various countries around the world.

Zareef was also listed in the Top 10 of GQ’s Best Dressed on two occasions.

Zareef won the title of SABC 1’s One DayLeader with an audience of over 5 million people watching the show weekly.

Zareef was listed as a Forbes Africa 30 under 30.

Zareef was listed as Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top 30 to look out for together with Patrice Motsepe and Phuti Mahanyele.
